I have been doing genealogy for about 25 years. I headed out on walk about as the Aussie's would call it, doing a reverse migration of my ancestors and didn't get very far, grin. I landed in Golden City, buying a flea market, which has now gone online and is being turn into my Art studio and is how I am now financing my genealogy research.
Thanks for stopping by! The Blaine county Blog has been started to generate interaction among researchers, get things done and break down those brick walls. Please feel free to communicate, and share information here.
I am always looking for information on Jacob Almon Chilcote, Adolphus A. Smith, and James W. Smith. Jacob and possibly James are buried in Collins Cemetery. Also Viola Chilcote/Smith was a teacher in Blaine Cty. for awhile. They all are tied to homesteads there. 4jdurham@cableone.net
